The student visa for Canada

Any student wishing to study in Canada must have a student visa for Canada, otherwise known as a Study Permit. It is not mandatory, especially if you stay less than 6 months in the country. All you need to do in this case is to apply for a simple visitor visa. Obviously, as a visitor, you can not work with this visa.

In case you leave for more than 6 months, you will need this sesame: the student visa for Canada. The proceedings are done online, directly on the Embassy of Canada website.

Admission to a university course

First, you must first file a university file at the school of your choice. In general, the registration period is between January 1st and March 1st, with the aim of integrating the school at the beginning of the next academic year, that is to say in the fall.

You will have to pay admission fees, which are 90 Canadian dollars, the equivalent of about 50 pounds.

Then, and only if you have been accepted into a school, you will be able to apply for a student visa in Canada.

The administrative procedures can be long (count on average 6 months for the procedures related to your university file, and about a month to obtain the student visa for Canada). This is why it is best to go ahead, in order not to be caught off guard.
